Friendly lady on front desk upon arrival. Room heater was on for us whether intentional or not, was nice to walk into. Clean, quite spacious. We had a garden view studio room. Good sized bathroom. Pretty much had everything we were looking for in accommodation. Bed was comfortable. I asked for extra towels, was no problem. Really enjoyed our stay here. Had a different receptionist on way out who wasn't as friendly as the Asian lady who had originally greeted us but this didn't change our good experience.
Rooms are dated and not very comfortable. The smallest amounts of shampoo/ soaps which is really only enough for 1 person. The room was very clean though- house keeping clearly the backbone keeping this place going. Good sized car park out the back so no battle for car parking.nNo aircon or ceiling fans and no elevator to get to upper floor.
The stay was good overall. Rooms were neat and tidy. Only issue is don’t have lifts so was a nightmare to pull all our baggage up using stairs
Despite the negative reviews on google map, I had a pleasant stay. Room is clean and tidy my priority!, staff was friendly and helpful - have no complains :nnLocation is great with lots of nice coffee shops and restaurants near by!nnIt is true that there is no elevator so might be tough to go down / up one floor if you get a room that’s not on the grand floor.
Staff were lovely and the location was very central. The hotel it's self was very dated, our room was exceptionally small and smelled of old, stale and damp carpet.
