The staff here were such friendly locals. The continental breakfast made me feel like I was at home and so welcome. The room was lovely and just the whole place was a beautiful stop and place to say when seeing the caves. 10/10 guys
Fantastic location very close to all the main attractions. The hosts were welcoming and friendly and greeted us even though we arrived much after business hours. We stayed in a family chalet with kitchenette. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable and clean. Would stay again.
We loved staying here! The couple who hosts the chalets is so lovely, we cannot appreciate enough how kind and caring they had been. They helped us out with everything we needed. The room was cute and clean with everything you need for your stay. You can even use a common kitchen if you want.
I had accidentally booked the wrong date online. They were nice enough to move me to the corrected dates with no hassle. The room itself was very nice and unique with a great view. The property also has laundry which was very nice and easy. If I’m ever in the Waitomo area again. I will definitely stay here again.nnOnly complaint was that there was a very squeaky floorboard in my room. Not much of an issue though.
Even tho we arrived early, the owners were very kind in letting us check in. The chalet was comfortable and had a lovely view overlooking some of Waitomo. It's also situated just down the hill from the beautiful historic building, the Waitomo Hotel sadly closed, which is as stunning as it is haunting. Highly recommend the place and also asking the front desk for suggestions on walks. They had a bunch and we ended up doing the Waitomo walkway and Raikuri trail. We did this at night, and there were glow worms EVERYWHERE. All in all, an enchanting experience
