Signed up to Volition as closer to home than my previous gym of 15 years. Great experience. Super welcoming and friendly staff and the sign-up process a breeze. Not being tied into a contract was the main attraction. Premises are clean and equipment, although some a tad old, provide all that is required for a great workout. Showers are limited,only two, with timers, so will need to see how it goes in a busy day. Otherwise pleased with the recommendation to join made by a friend

Update. Ok I've now given you a 1 star review. Whatever brand those power bags are, which are in the same location as in the photo - despite whenever it was taken - Go and pick a couple up, drop them on the ground and see for yourself that some are leaking. One distinctly has brown/ rust at one end. Why don't you upload a photo to show your findings---both ends of all the power bags? As yes you finally replaced those damaged kettle bells, and put some basic soap in the bathrooms...after months of them also leaking + no soap. The only confusion is your confusion about how to manage a your Glen Eden facility at 273 West Coast Road. I was a member there for a long time and until recently. Gym staff are nice, but management just don't care Fortunately plenty of other options in the area now. Update. Hi Volition Mgmt. The power bags by reception in the attached photo. You need to check them & improve general maintenance of the facilities. Thanks Those Titan power bags behind reception are worn to the point whatever is inside them is coming out, it’s like rust/ powder coming out and gave me asthma. Was also happening with kettle bells. Also took about 2months to replace soap in the bathrooms. More care for basic maintenance please.
Been a member there for about 2 years shame I had to move more out west - amazing people well spaced and all important machines to either be fit or build - love their group workouts !!
This gym is amazing, I attended Les Mils in New Lynn however decided to give this place a go because it was closer to home. The staff members are very welcoming, friendly and polite. I love the atmosphere it is a positive environment where everyone focuses on their own journey. The equipment is great and the facility is always spotless clean and tidy. I would 100% recommend this gym, not to mention its never crowded.
No frills kind of gym, just how I like it! I come in, do my workout and I'm out. Perfect for those who like a good workout anytime of the week! Staff/trainers are helpful too when needed but leave you alone if you prefer. Equipments are repaired quickly when they breakdown and also get updated frequently.
Such an amazing gym!! The classes are great and the vibe is amazing. Best gym out west for sure. Thanks heaps team for always making everyone feel welcome
