Welcoming and friendly staff. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Breakfast was very good. I especially liked the attempt to be sustainable in the bathroom with the shampoo etc and with the condiments for breakfast. Excellent to see. International hotels can learn from you. Great comfortable, clean room and service. The reception was so lovely on arrival even though we were in the wrong. Also very appreciative that the manager and staff were so kind in regards to a sensitive and urgent family matter. From the greeting at the front desk to the comfort and features in my room I am amazed. The food in the restaurant was top class and the service-awesome. My only concern was the Yellow bus. Waited in the cold at the airport. Otherwise. Definitely recommend to everyone.Rooms: 5/5

Because of flight delays we had to have an impromptu stay at the Sudima. The team were all amazing, the attached restaurant made some great meals and the beds were comfortable. They made a potentially painful experience very enjoyable. Thank you very much

Great staff; food pretty good, duck fat potatoes were not crispy though. Room very adequate but shower made floor wet all round the bathroom. Very strong scented body wash & body lotionRooms: 4/5

The hotel is far from the airport even it has a name including “airport”. If you miss shuttle bus$8 per way, need to take a taxi which costs $65 for just 4minutes drive. At check-in, staff were not aware of my existence for a long time even I was saying hello many times. The toilet in our room had stained by previous guests, which means simply not cleaned.

Excellent hotel close to Auckland airport ideal for staying in after a late flight or before catching an early morning plane. We had a superb meal in the restaurant and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We will stay there again on our next trip to NZ.Rooms: 4/5

We stayed here after arriving to the airport at 130am. It was comfortable and quiet and an easy check in process. The transport to hotel situation really needs to be sorted out as it’s $50 for a taxi and the yellow bus doesn’t operate often at this time in the morning.

The staff were all lovely and accommodating. They need more support here. I would have been happy to pay over $350 per night, if the basics of an airport hotel were met. They were not. The cleanliness of my room was below dodgy airport hotel standards. There was no reply to my email enquiry for the airport shuttle, until I was checked in the next day. I had to wait outside at 3am when I arrived by Uber after my flight, ringing the doorbell and the phone. You could, should - support your staff better -at minimum roster two night shift reception staff on, so at least if one is occupied looking after other guests, there's another staff member to let in the person ringing the doorbell at 3am.

Exceeded expectations on so many levels. Friendly staff at checkin, exceptional quality food at the restaurant, also service from the very lovely staff, clean comfortable and newly refurbished rooms. Brief stopover en route to Aus and did not expect this level of comfort and attention to all details. Thank you so much!Rooms: 5/5
