Vino Vino is located on Waiheke Island 35 minute ferry ride from downtown Auckland. It is an experience not to be missed a relaxing, modern and traditional dining in the most superb spot that offers stunning views over Oneroa bay.

We definitely lucked in with this delightful restaurant. We were going to go ‘Inn’ somewhere else, but fortunately we were more impressed by far when we went in during the day to book when we were greeted by a huge smile and happy face. A younger gentleman kindly offered us a fabulous table for the evening if we were able to come in by 6:15pm. So we did and we were rewarded with the most exceptional view, excellent service, exquisite oysters and tapas and local wine. What a fabulous introduction to the stunning Waiheke Island. When we were in the restaurant, we spoke to others. One family visiting were there for their 4th night in a row. Another couple that regularly sail from Auckland. A local family that eat there all of the time. We will definitely be back in the next few days Vegetarian options: Had vegan options
AMAZINGGGGG I had breakfast one day and tapas with drinks on another day at Vino Vino. Highly recommend! The food is fantastic — supreme taste and quality with very generous portions. It's the best restaurant on the island!!! The staff is super friendly, always smiling, and gives excellent recommendations for both food and drinks. I tried various drinks; the Amaretto sour and the Margarita were definitely the best I've ever had A must-stop on Waiheke, and the view from the restaurant is another big plus. Thank you for the delightful experience,I will be back!
Great food! Best view! However one of the waitress is so rude cold face and stopped me when I’m ordering . Also blocked my way to the counter when i was trying to pay . She was trying to be cool by stopping my sentence. So rude!!! The boss is really nice recommend this place . Hope you guys won’t be served by that rude one. Food: 5/5
A spectacular view. As the sunsets on the opposite coast, you get magical changes in the light looking across to the Coromandel. The beach, Bay, and Rocky foreshore are quintessential NZ. The small dish menu is excellent. Book early to score a table on the deck.Food: 4/5

Really enjoyed this restaurant. Food and wine, service, and view were all excellent. I’ve spent the last few weeks traveling across Australia and New Zealand and the local snapper over risotto with crushed pistachio alongside roasted seasonal local veggies has so far been the highlight of my dining experiences. 10/10!Food: 5/5
Nice eatery overlooking the beach. We received great service from a French waitress and got chatting to another couple dining from Cairns. Overall, just a nice chilled and relaxing atmosphere. Food was good. Wasn't too sure about the sponge in my Doris Plum Eton Mess though Food: 4/5
All delicious. Steak was cooked perfectly.Fish snapper,salad with caper berries & chips.Creme Caramel flan was outstanding, followed by affrogatos.Local syrah & pinot gris wines. Thank you. Highly recommend lunch there.

Nice location with a good view of the bay, staff were very prompt and friendly. Food was pretty average. The chicken schnitzel was perfectly cooked and moist however the salad was very bland, no dressing and only had lettuce and tomato in it. I know the cost of food is high at the moment, but felt it wasn't worth $39. Perhaps having a smaller portion of meat and a more flavourful salad would be better. Steak was well cooked and good value for money but overall the meal needed more sauce and seasoning. Small changes could make both these meals 10/10.
