I'd heard that the pizza was disappointing from my boyfriend. Tried the milkshakes anyway, but $8 NZD for a warm, weak milkshake is not my idea of a treat.

We picked up 3 pizzas and salads for dinner last night - all delicious. The eggplant and gorgonzola pizza was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had and the salads were presented beautifully. We will be back!

Love this place! Gelato is magnificent and fresh! The staff a beyond lovely. A must try in Waiheke!

Nice friendly place to eat. 1960's retro decor that looked totally genuine complete with old espresso machine. Looking forward to a  Gelato another time.

Having recently travelled all over Italy and tasted many of the best gelatos there La Dolce Vita is right up there with the best gelato in the world! honestly I’m a chef and I know what I’m talking about! Also great friendly lovely service.

Authentic tasty Italian pastas pizzas gellato coffee friendly  service reasonable prices. .Must go place.

Pizzas are delicious and really big, the gelato is amazing and im yet to try the pasta. They also are open till around 9pm so it is great for the ones that enjoy a late dinner from time to time. Staff is very friendy

Sorbet was so good! All the ice creams we tasted there were great it was hard to pick ;
