Our car was stolen today at this car park. I asked why a car could be stolen directly under the surveillance camera. And the staff who worked here said whoever supposed to watch the camera was busy because “he has other things to do” I asked to speak to the manager and the guy told me I cannot speak to a manager because he can’t give me her number. I said I don’t need a private number, I just want an office number or work number and he said there isn’t one. He tried his best to prevent me to speak to the upper management. He told me “cars got stolen here all the time”. I wouldn’t mention this staff’s name because I promised to him I won’t, but according to him the “car park manager” is “Anna Burgar”. If there is a manager at all, I would like to ask why do you hire people to watch the surveillance camera but keep them busy to do “so many other things “?
Let's say, you are traveling at a speed at which you and your motorvehicle of choice find uniquely appropriate for your current surroundings. But something comes up! You find yourself lost in a maze of roadworks. You say to yourself: "I need somewhere to place my vehicle in a stationary position for a specific period of time in exchange for legal tender" Ladies and gentlemen, look no further. Victoria Street Car Park has what you so desire. The second best concrete to ensure your second most expensive asset to your name does not find itself in a Supercity Towing yard. First place still goes to Downtown Carpark, because they have the swanky suits ready to park your BMW for you.
Great location for central Auckland and really good value - I paid $4 per hour, daytime drive in. Only really suitable for cars salon as the corners are tight and the ramps narrow; take it easy! The spaces vary in size but usually lot of room on the higher levels. All the low levels are reserved parking so go up once you go down, there's no return!. You'll see a lot of the pillars are scraped; don't be one of them! There's only one lift and it can be slow, so patience is required. But don't be put off: this is bargain parking in the central city, and close to the Art Gallery, theatres and town hall, and Mezze Bar best place to eat and drink.
Always park here when we go to the city to visit grandson Ryan and Rica as it's near their apartment building. The only trouble I have is leaving as the photo doesn't differentiate between a 1 and an I on my number plate so have trouble with this and have to ring to pay and to get out also....about time it got updated to recognize numbers and alphabet which look the same otherwise an excellent spot to park in Auckland CBD as it's central.
Ample parking. Use the app to track your parking duration to avoid paying too much. You'd have 15 minutes grace to leave after payment.
Great place to park, only issue is the car parks can be a bit tight and you get to see who need to learn how to park again.
Had one of the the most rude man working in the parking and didn't even bothered working. Not bad for parking but Worst place to ask for help.
Good price for parking but car parks are very tights and small
Yes it’s ok. Very convenient and better to park than the other carpark up in the road. You guys need to clean better the stairs as they stink. Also calibrate those cameras as often I cannot find the license plate on the Apo or the machine, I.e.. the machine says that I haven’t entered the carpark.
Tight and confusing layout. But that's to be expected for the city centre. It does have LED displays telling you if there are parks available in the area you are.
