Good location when going to the bottom end of the city, and the weekend, evening rates are not to bad. Bit more expensive week days, but everywhere is. Upgrade a few years back to no tickets a great change, like most carparks now. Large capacity, but can still take a while to find a park at busy times.
Safe and secure place to park downtown. Reasonable pricing and not too crowded. The new plate recognition works very well. If you want to get on Motorway 1 for going South or Motorway 16 for West, best to take the exit on Level 3. It comes out on Fanshawe and then you turn left to get on Hobson Street and then carry on straight to Motorway 1 or 16. There is a pay machine next to this exit on Level 3.
With the new ticketless electronic system it is super easy to park and pay. Parking spots could be a little bit wider but it is clean and secure.
The best inner city car park price-wise, and located so close to the ferry building and viaduct. The only thing letting this place down is the narrow parking spaces.
Always seems tidy, nice to see security around and is cheap. Would be good if they sorted out the lights indicating free or full carparks.
I would give it 5 stars for other times I used this carpark. Excellent location. This review is based on the New Year Eve night.. trapped in there for +2 hrs ... as well as hundreds of other car. Occasion like this, the management council owned should just forget about paying the parking and Get some traffic management at the exits to public road. If there is a fire... it would have been a death trap.
Best weekend rate .always has been the best safest car park in town. Very user friendly pay system and runs off your plate number. No paper waste.weekend rates are amazing
Lots of car parking. $10 max on the weekend I thought was a great price. We spent 8 hours in and around the city. Lifts and stairs. Good level info color and number identifiers
Safe and accessible car park for all kinds of vehicles. Very close to Viaduct and a short walk to Britomart. A little on the expensive side, but still affordable depending on how long you’re there for :
Easy access to enter and exit. Good bridge walk to get down to the viaduct area. $6 for 3 hours parking on a Saturday afternoon is good value. Digital signage telling you how many parks are free on each level as well as the green lights above the park.
