Gets really expensive after the 2 free hours are up, it's extremely cramped, dirty, stinks of fish, and the lift wasn't working. Not quite as overpriced as the Wilson parking but still a lot more expensive than parking on the street. Only recommend if you're staying under 2 hours and there's no street parking nearby.
2 hours free parking in the middle of Newmarket, but BYO hand sanitiser.
It's a very old car park with a lot of car spaces. It has a two free hour parking but the building hasn't been maintained really well. The lift is slow going up and down, the buttons takes about 15 presses before it works so you can call the lift, The first and second floor has cracks and leaks when it rains leaving large puddles on the ground. The balcony car park has paint that's peeling off. When it rains the ground is slippery l. They've really ignored this carpark for the last twenty years. They've just been cashing on this car park for the past decade without any sort of maintenance. It wasn't free two hour parking before covid. They tried reducing from 1hour to 30mins and noone bothered to park after that. Park here if you need to but if there's an earthquake this place would probably go down first.
Everytime it rains the roof leaks some white colour material and damage the paint and the glass of the vehicle. I have called multiple times to complain and they say they are aware but dont have budgets to fix it and so its ‘upto me whether i park in the carpark or not’. Is this the kind of service u expect? Do they disclose issues like this when you sign up for monthly subscriptions? Coz if they do then its fair to say look we have given you full disclosure so its upto u to decide if you want the service or not! But when you call up about a serious concern this is totally unexpected. On top of that the lift never works when going down from level 2 so good luck if you have stuff to take from ur car
You need to think twice before you park there, their roof leaks and they are aware of that and the white paint from the roof will be dripping on to your car bonnet, the paint will cause damage to your car paint and you need to repaint you car. So far the company didn't refund the parking fee, nor did they offer any compensation as well. Every time you rang them, they were full of excuses. Self claim themselves as kiwi owned and operated, they can't even do a basic thing right and that is to provide the space that is meeting the standard of parking, i am wondering how can they get away with taking people'money and damaging peoples property and without doing anything about it? Certainly i can't, i will go to the media to let more people know you cannot operate your business like that and there will be consequences if you continue to do so
WARNING! ELEVATOR NOT WORKING AND NOT BEING REPAIRED! Past three months the elevator has been out of service with no obvious maintenance or repairs being undertaken. Do not park here unless you can walk the stairs down AND up! Most spaces are reserved, but almost always one or two free during the weekday on the roof top. The roof top is in terrible condition with the paint lifting off of the ground and flying off to pollute the environment.
Decent rates and first hour free. Parking always seems to be available which is a plus. Really good when in comparison to other parking garages. Deduction of a star since it always smells like piss.
Parking not expensive, but my car got broken into, no cameras around lift is very old.
Special thanks for Tatyana and her supervisor from the customer service to sorted out the problem for me, saved me a $70 lost ticket charge.
$9.50 for early bird parking, I guess I won't be eating for my time working in Newmarket.
