Victoria's Hero Coffee

I'm a frequent user of this cafe in my home town and you can get some great value breakfasts and meals here. The staff are friendly, service good and there's lots of tables inside with plenty of room. The portions are very generous and it serves the biggest and best cappuccino in town in my opinion! I recently had lunch here, the Cajun chicken with a huge side salad and rice you could choose chips instead of rice; it was really good! Just be aware, this cafe only takes cash, no cards accepted. Kid-friendliness: Plenty of room for prams/buggies. Plenty of choice of food for kids. Dietary restrictions: Some vegetarian options on their menu.

Lovely food, reasonably priced and great service. Highly recommend eating here.

Food was OK but rather pricey compared to most places. The only thing that really annoyed me was the fact that they don't take card payments. It always makes me feel like a business has something to hide when they only take cash.Food: 4/5

This Cafe serves 5-star food at 2-star prices. The staff, led by the charismatic Kim, are attentive and efficient. But the main reason for this review is the quality of the food. This Cafe is one of the best we have dined in. If you visit Brightlingsea and are hungry The Victoria Cafe will sate your appetite at a very competitive price. This is a 5-star review and well deserved, we will be back.

Very nice food and great atmosphere very friendly staff. This was the first time I had visited this cafe/restaurant and would definitely recommend also lovely little town to visit with a fountain across the road with lots of fish in the pond, nice to relax after a great meal.

They have definitely upped their game. No longer just a greasy spoon cafe. Perfect poached eggs on a muffin with a choice of bacon or salmon. Super quick service in spacious surroundings.

Good value, good food, friendly service

The service was poor waited outside for over 20 mins wasn't served no order taken although I went in after 10 mins to say I was sitting outsideand was promised a waitress very soon after another 12 mins I left hungry and thirsty. The gentleman that asked to share my table was served and had food by the time I drove past a few minutes later obviously my face didn't fit. Can't comment on the food as never got any.

Food is very good, chefs seem to be able to cook anything and it's great. Service is good, prices great and only draw back is the noise of everyone talking, sometimes hard to hear...but its a minor issueFood: 4/5
