"Upton Electric Guitar School is your go to music school in the Bay of Plenty. We offer tuition for the acoustic guitar, electric guitar and the bass guitar. Lessons are held in both the portable guitar truck which has all the instruments, effects and recording gear inside and a home studio. We travel around local schools during the day and teach privately after school hours. For both beginner and advanced players we can take your playing to the next level. I cannot talk highly enough of Andrew! My son has been going to lessons for six months now and LOVING it. Andrew has such passion for his music and students, which is on display always. His friendly and approachable manner is such a pleasure to be around. Andrew puts in a massive amount of work and is genuinely dedicated to ensuring his students thrive and enjoy the music experience. If you've been considering lessons, you need not look any further!
Andrew has a great manner and is very engaging with his students. He is able to pass on his love for music and gets them playing and learning quickly so they can build confidence and enjoy their lessons. As they progress students are taught more of the fundamentals and have lots of opportunity to grow. Plus he’s a lovely guy and fantastic role model.
