Upper Hutt College is a state co-educational secondary school located in Upper Hutt, New Zealand. The school opened in 1962 as the city's second state secondary school, alongside Heretaunga College. As of, the school has a roll of students from Years 9 to 13 (ages 12 to 18).HousesThe students are arbitrarily divided into four houses, each which have received their name from a famous New Zealander as voted by the student body in 2004. Each house also has their own set colour which is used at house events (for example Athletics Day) so each student can comfortably represent their house, and it also encourages artificial division within the school. This school does there best to help the children in the school. The teachers here are so kind and they've helped me and my family so much. The kids hate school in general, not just upper Hutt college because they can't follow simple school rules and I think that parents should teach there children some manners. I will sit in class and I'll see how the kids treat the teachers like garbage and surprisingly the teacher stay calm and kind.
This school is more focused on how you look rather then actually teaching you anything. Horrible place and the teachers need to focus on how to teach there students mrs Sudfeldt is cool tho
Best school in Wellington. I do rolly pollys in p.e and handstands and i get full points for p.e somehow also i get bullied by my teachers but its ok cuz i do rolly pollys Update 1/12/23 i don't get full points anymore and i have beef with one of my teachers. But the cafeteria is the best place to griddy during sst Update 8/03/24 im a senior now and i hate skl but i love it. Most teachers don't really help but they do explain well most of them the works also a lil difficult.
Every day this school makes my life more miserable. But the drama is funny
Gives Auschwitz a run for its money. Shockingly terrible school. 80% of teaching time is taken up by telling off bad students. Meanwhile the accelerate class has the best classrooms/teachers. The students need to be really punished.

people keep vaping and chugging monster energy outside of my health class horrible experience
It is an absolutely atrocious school; full of bullying non-understanding management. The schoolrooms are like something from the 1800s. They care more about the Rugby team than their students
once i drank in science class update as of 2022: i have continued to drink in chemistry and biology classes. the police can't stop me.
