The service and admin team at Unitec are negligent, inconsiderate and do not fulfill their promises. I have never experienced such poor service like I have at Unitec. I do not recommend anyone to do invest their time and money into such an institution. After endless amounts of emails and calls, I still have not received my certificate, even though I completed my course over a year ago! I am utterly disappointed and regretful that I wasted my time there.
Free courses for anyone in Construction for another Semester 2023. Bachelor, Diploma and all Trade training. Construction Management and Quantity Surveying. Maybe more. Its a great Campus. Covid has meant Zoom lectures which is my only reason for minus 1 Star. Missing the tutorial lessons. Still well worth investigating for upskilling.
Unitec is a great university, I was student there for 3 years. The campus is really nice, but walking uphill in the winter can be somewhat tricky and dangerous. The distance between buildings makes getting to class on time a real challenge. The historical buildings are very nice from the outside, but could use some serious renovations on the inside. The campus has been transformed into a big construction site in the last two years, making tuition there less enjoyable. The librairies get very crowded and hot during exam season and renders study rooms unavailable. The quality of education is excellent and increases as the classes shrink in size because the learning experience is enhanced. Many classes are recorded which makes attendance completely optional for those who can't make it to class. Alumni benefit from many things upon graduation, such as the Unitec reputation and a wide network of former students to connect with.
Had a great experience studying nursing at Unitec. Equally as good an experience working in Wellness clinic. Modern and older buildings work seamlessly together to provide all needs required for a world class learning facility. Always recommended
Best place to get your national certificate for plumbing, drainlaying, and gasfitting. The tutors are all very well prepared with their lesson plans and theory assessments but they also realize that their students are tradespeople and not necessarily academics, so they keep a good balance of practical, theory, and inappropriate workplace banter. The only place I'll recommend to anyone looking to do an apprenticeship.
My special place of work. Exceptional whenua surrounds the campus. Close proximity to my home. A beautiful Fale on its grounds that honour the Pacific nations peoples who study here. The Marae a sacred meeting place that gathers, instills, heals, protects and maintains the traditions and protocols of the tangata whenua and the reo of the indigenous peoples of Aotearoa. I am thankful and grateful to work for Unitec and my beloved students. Arohanui, Yvonne
The library, Modern architectural building, the campus with golf course look are impressive.
Great institution great location. Decided to do a course after many years out of workforce and study. I have a disability and the Institute accommodates me. Have found course materials very engaging. The only negative feedback I would offer is that some of the students have an attitude of discrimination towards older students. The institution is for everyone including mature students. Seems empty without many international students however this is to be expected with the pandemic. Overall I don't regret coming at all
Hi this is Hossen from Bangladesh want to do masters Level-8 uni tech in the subject of SAP System Application Process could you please let me know the details like tuition fees, course details, time and conditions . very urgent coz i wish to apply coming session. i got 6.5 in IELTS exam
