We arrived without a booking at 11 am on a Saturday, and the place was already packed. The staff were great, taking the initiative to move us to a larger table as soon as one became available.nnThe establishment could do with another dozen tables, such is its popularity. There is also an outdoor area, which would clearly be useful in the warmer months.nnThe Salmon Montreal was delicious.nThe Lamb Souvlaki was good.nThe seafood chowder was creamy and tasty.nThe apple crumble pancakes were great. I love a creative take on a staple dish like this.nnWe all loved the way the menu was presented inside various popular children’s books.nnGreat work to the staff at Trocadero. You really make this a winning venue.

Stopped by this morning for a post Harvest Festival recovery breakfast for our group of festival goers, and the Trocadero Coffee Bar did not disappoint. From the Cappuccino's and Flat whites for the hungover ones to the cream covered ice chocolates for those of us with a sweet tooth. The menus are inserted in Golden Book covers. The service was amazing, all teams members greeted us with a smile. Our drink orders were taken quickly, and drinks came fast. Then our brunch orders were taken, and what a hard choice it was. They have an extensive menu of food, it all sounded delicious, and most items were available in gluten free or vegetarian options.nWe departed totally satisfied, with big smiles on our faces. We will definately be back here again on our next trip through the stunning metropolis of Masterton.

Very enjoyable experience at Trocadero. From entry to exit the staff were friendy and attentive. You can really tell that they are passionate about the cafe experience for customers.nI had a big daddy breakfast which was delicious and was presented in a fantastic way. Other meals I observed coming out showed care in presentation as well as looking delicious.nWas my second time there and I recommend a visit.
