Cafe was a hive of activity when we arrived for a late breakfast on Saturday 14th January. Had to wait nearly half an hour for our meals which was understandable considering how many people were in cafe and sitting at the outside area. We were happy to sit with our drinks at table outside and wait for food to arrive. Pleasant outdoor area.nMeals were very filling.nService was also great and friendly.nThank you!
Very good food on display. Busy, but neat eatery/cafe area. But why ask if 3x sausage rolls for 3 guests can be served on 1 side plate? We managed to get 2 plates, but still it's such a messy item that staff has to clean up after. Just wash the plates faster, surely?? The staff seemed really grumpy today. Not a good look.
Sensational, an amazing cafe. All of the baking is done onsite. The head baker is a very innovative, creative individual who has travelled extensively and lives to enhance her artistry. They also have an extensive breakfast/lunch menu. Had an omlette and it was delicious, was very impressed with the way it was cooked. My friend had eggs on toast , beautifully cooked and presented. Staff are very professional and up a few notches from your usual cafe. Discipline and organization is very evident here.
It was ok, the people I went worth were more what it was about. I did not like the that they were starting to clean while there were customers still eating, sweeping and mopping parts of the cafe. I know people don't want to work much past their knock off time but that the way it goes. I was told to leave the dirty plates on the table as they would be collected. Sorry but that is not what I do. It is the 1st time in all my days that I have been told to do that. We finished our lunch and was making room for the dessert. I have worked in Hospitality for many years so think I know a thing or two.
