Cafe Mirabelle is family owned and run by Megan and Olivier Rochery. Sole Chef and Owner Megan resides in the kitchen making Pastries, famous Pies, Desserts such as Creme Brûlée, Gateau au Chocolat and regional specialties such as, Coq au Vin, her famous Cassoulet, French Onion Soup, Salade de Chèvre Chaut, Escargots, Magret de Canard and much more. The food philosophy is simple, hearty and unpretentious just like at home in France.
Olivier, Megan's husband hails from Paris and is Maitre d'of the restaurant and charms the customers with his gallic hospitality. Olivier can recommend from his range of french and local wines, beers, ciders, liquors and non-alcoholic beverages to suit your meal. French lessons come free with every course.
The atmosphere is cosy and seats around 30 so bookings are essential if you want to secure your seats.
The cafe closes it's doors from Christmas and over January for earned rest and recuperation.
