Fantastic Experience!nnFirstly, a huge thank you to Ian for all your help! You are a great guy, and it was a pleasure to meet you. Your assistance with the Tongariro Track made a world of difference, and we had the opportunity to meet some wonderful people along the way.nnThe lodge itself was a lot of fun, with plenty of games and a well-equipped kitchen that made our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were comfortable and welcoming.nnWe had an unforgettable experience and can't recommend this place enough!
When it's time to sleep and you prefer to go to sleep in the van that mean something is ain't right:nn1 '. Order the double bed but we get 3 single bed. One was clearly from another century.nn2. The guy will try to make you feel uncomfortable and it seems that he doesn't want you to feel home for the night. Not funny joke about your origin that he will repeat hopping you will be mad or laugh I am not sure about this part.nHe will even ask in a weird manner if you will make love with your girlfriend. Felt really uncomfortable.nn3. Smell of feet .nn4. Found a voucher below the bed saying 20mb of free internet in a coffee that no longer exists. Meaning keep your socks.nnI have some other details but you get it I wish you good luck in this place. The bathroom in the room if you take it was clean I have to say!nnSome old reviews as been deleted saying that he will come to the room in the morning randomly. 1 of the reviews talked about that and made references to other reviews talking about that.nI personally woke up with a noise of the door but can't be sure, just lock it and wish he don't have the keys.nnDon't take it personally sir but when you are not made to manage this type of service then don't.nnWish you the best.
Every thing you could need close by. The retreat is clean and tidy. Great showers. Ian, mein host, is a hoot. Spent a wonderful drunk fuelled evening in his company. The ladies who clean and tidy are lovely. Would reccomend this venue to any one of any age. Great time. Thank you all. Xx
The hostel is amazing! Ian and his family success is making you feel homey, the hostel is very cozy! The showers are clean and the water hot and strong! The beds are very comfortable, I stayed in a 6 bed dorm and it was very comfortable! The dorm had a heater.nThe kitchen is very well equipped. But what I really liked was the way Ian and his family received you, as you were a guest in their house! Amazing place and I’ll come back someday!
It is located in the heart of Middle Earth. The owner of the motel, IAN, is a great guy. He is a Lord of the Rings fan. He is a great person to sit and chat with in the evening. The room was also nice, and the interior was clean and functional. There are enough blankets to keep warm. It was great to spend time together in the common areas and meet new people.
