Nice place to hangout and let the kids fish for you
Kids will love this place. Feeding the fish is an amazing activity.
Just a good walk for the day. Tickets are a bit pricey. Unfortunately no fishing for the kids when we visited, but has a lot of trouts to see.
Great place to explore and wander about. Feed the fish at the viewing platform!
Great little hideaway in the woods, very educational, and some absolute ballistic missile sized trout to feed!
Neat place to take the children, not super big you will probably need about 1 hour to see the whole thing. Costs $15 per adult and children are free. Cost isn’t bad for what it is in my opinion. Pushchair/stroller friendly

Interesting facts and knowledge about fly fishing in Tongariro. You can see some fishes in the aquarium as well as plenty of trout in the rivers. Not too bad, a little pricey for that amount of content though at $15.
