Updated Bis :nnFull review of the Timaru district council, its district councillors and Mayor pending...nnWhilst you're waiting for this Review to be completed- Here are a few facts about the Air quality or lack thereof, odors and so forth about Timaru:nnFact 1: There are two Air quality Monitoring stations in Timaru. One located in Parkside, near the old Countdown- The other in Washdyke. Only one of the two is operating correctly.nnFact 2: After being subjected to very poor Air quality and horrendous odors for over a decade- The resilient people of Washdyke finally complained- It was documented in the local Newspapers i.e. The Timaru Herald and Courier are the long standing local Newspapers.
This is just an excuse to get revenue there's an underlining issue here.people will not visit this area and anty social is just another excuse.if everyone stopped paying for the council salaries then they might rethink.dont go there park in supermarkets double park on there streets
Contacted council office yesterday about a dangerous pot hole on a blind corner on Bassett road. Just like to say thank you so much for fixing this or temp repair done same day as called in. Great Service
The water in Talbot Street Geraldine is off again this has happened numerous times since we have lived here - apparently they have a loud hailer which is impossible to hear if you live in a back section.nWhy cannot the Council on behalf of Citi Care send an email advising local residents of any issues in the immediate area.nIf they can send Rates Notices by email, they have your address - what is the problem?
Rude lady answering the phones need a crash course in how to talk to people. Didn't offer solution or even help on who to speak to. Change jobs if you don't like dealing with people.
