Story

Inspired by the dominant (and seemingly unstoppable) Gracie family since the early days of UFC, Kirsty began actively studying and training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2006.

Since the very first days of her training, it became clear that Kirsty has a keen interest in realistic self defence techniques as well as practical game planning for competition (sports style) Jiu Jitsu.
Though Kirsty has been an active and successful competitor throughout her career (competing locally and internationally) her passion has always been focused on the street safe aspects of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for empowerment and self defence.

Kirsty's love for Jiu Jitsu seen her travel throughout Australia for 9 years, seeking out the very best coaches to further her study in both sports Jiu Jitsu and self defence training. She has dedicated many years to training under select coaches in the Gold Coast, Sydney and most recently, Melbourne.

Kirsty is an approachable and knowledgeable coach with extensive experience.
She brings her excitement and enthusiasm to the mats every day.
