The wilderness has been an amazing place for our daughter to spend her days! She loves going outside so this is the perfect place for her; the garden, the forest; all the animals she gets to visit. Even as a 1 year old they don’t miss out on any experience. She loves the food and eats so well there! The teachers are amazing with her, she’s formed amazing bonds with them and feels safe to be left there. Really recommend!
I couldn’t think of a better place for my girls to go to preschool. They wake up excited every single morning, eager to get to preschool and see the lambs, pigs, chickens and of course, Taco the turtle! One of their favourite parts of the week is Forest Day. I absolutely love that they get to be outside in all weather, exploring, learning, and challenging themselves in such a natural and enriching environment.nnThe teachers at The Wilderness are amazing. My girls have built strong relationships with each and every one of them. It’s so clear how much the team genuinely cares about every single child.nnI would wholeheartedly recommend The Wilderness to anyone looking for a preschool, it truly is one in a million!
We absolutely love The Wilderness for our boys! The setting is magical – a nature forest, lambs, pigs, chickens, and Taco the turtle – what more could you ask for, preschool days are always exciting! The teachers and staff are so warm and caring, and the chef somehow gets them eating food they simply would refuse at home we need that secret touch!. It’s so comforting knowing they’re happy, well cared for, learning, exploring, and well fed every day. Couldn’t recommend it more!
Our daughter has been attending the Wilderness for six months now and we feel so lucky we found a centre with such amazing staff and teachers to nurture her! She loves arriving at school every morning and is always greeted by her teachers with incredible warmth. The centre is so unique, full of beautiful spaces with a forest on site, farm animals and chickens. We really love the Wilderness and feel so lucky to have the wonderful team as a key part of our 'village'
We visited more than seven different early childhood centres to compare options and find a place that would foster a positive mindset for our daughter and this one truly stood out. The facility itself is stunning, and the setting, with access to animals, plants and native bush, creates a unique environment for the children.nnThere are plenty of teachers around, which gives a strong sense of support and care. The dedicated professional chef preparing fresh meals each day is a great bonus.nnDownside: Drop-off now takes twice as long. There's pigs, pond I havent seen a fish yet and Taco the turtle, turns out my daughter refuses to go inside without greeting every resident!nnOn our first trial day, I reached out to chat with a few of the teachers, and they were all warm, approachable, and happy to share insights about how the centre operates. A big thank you to Courtney and Caitlin for the friendly and informative tour. I also want to compliment Tony, who I saw step in thoughtfully during playtime to ensure the children who weren’t already involved had a chance to participate and share. It was done in such a natural and respectful way. Overall, the three hours I spent on my child’s first day felt comfortable and welcoming.nnPlease keep up the wonderful kindness you shown to both children and parents, it truly sets you apart!nnHighly recommend!
