Table orders for meals with drinks. Attentive, friendly and helpful staff. Quick service with generous portions of delicious food. My wife ordered the loaded potato wedges with a chicken wing side and received 8 mouth watering morsels. I ordered the pork ribs, they were well cooked and glazed. All meals served with a side salad and steak fires. Unable to finish, had to ask for a doggy bag.
Food was excellent. Table had Garden Salad with chicken, Fish and Chips and Rib Eye Steak. Friendly service. Nice fire. Meals came out in good time.
The service was terrible, they were unhelpful, rude and slow. We were a group of four people looking for something to eat, we entered the place and no one attended to us, so we went to one of the FOH employees and asked for a table and although there was one available, they didn't offer it to us, instead we had to ask for it. They told us it was booked. So we asked if any table was available. When we were sitting down ready to order food, they told us that the kitchen was already closed. Why didn't they say that before we sat down? They even neglected to inform us of bar snacks. Anyway, we got snacks and they were nice for pub food. But coming from hospitality I can honestly say there was no reason for this behaviour.
The service is awful here- under the impression when we asked if a table was available that there would be food at 8:15 we got seated we were then informed that the kitchen was closed! Even after seating us! Not only did it feel like we were being berated for not knowing this prior to seating they neglected to let us know that while the kitchen was closed bar snacks were available! I have never felt so disrespected.
We popped in for a quick beer so cannot comment on the food.nGoing into the bar was a pleasant surprise.nOutside you have a covered area.nThere is also a large dining roomnBeer was well kept
