Karolina is a true asset to this place, exceptional service, friendly and professional. The food was a bit of a let down. I ordered The pie of the day whichwas locally sourced Thar, meat was nicely cooked but unfortunately that was all I have to say good about the meal. We also ordered the Seafood chowder, the adding of turmeric was a nice touch but the over use of calamari was very disappointing.
We ordered fish and chips and the pork roast. Both meals were delicious and ample in size. Aent down well with a local wine. Service was lovely from beginning to end and the setting was warm and cozy.
Absolutely fab food and the server was extremely helpful and alert to our requests! Knowledgeable too. Really enjoyed ourselves.
The food there are absolutely amazing !nHighly recommend ribeye steak & fish n chipsnAnd the staffs there are all very friendly as well ! Had a great dining experience there :
We had the pleasure of dining at Cook Saddle Cafe & Saloon during our short stay in Fox Glacier, and the experience was truly heartwarming — all thanks to Karolina, who welcomed us with such warmth and kindness.nnEven though our time in the town was short, Karolina’s hospitality made us feel like locals. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making sure guests had a great experience. It's rare to meet someone who brings that much heart into their work — she’s a true gem!nnAs for the food, the Seafood Chowder absolutely blew my mind — it was my first time trying it, and now I know what I’ve been missing all this while!nnBig thanks to Karolina for the wonderful service. If you're ever in Fox Glacier, make sure to visit Cook Saddle — and say hi to Karolina if you're lucky enough to catch her!
