Place was recommended by the hotel staff and the food was really amazing! It’s nice and cozy by the fireplace, and the rib-eye steak really shone. The hint of spice in the pumpkin soup was a stand out too. However, our only caveat is the wait time for the food, it took almost 25-30 minutes for us to get our food, and one of the waitress there’s wasn’t exactly the friendliest. However, I do recommend this place for a meal as the quality of the food is really wonderful.
Great place, awesome food. The Mussels had a great kick with ginger and a bit of chili. It's definitely a must try.nnThe venison and the rib eye were flavorful and tender.
This place was recommended by a hotel staff. We goggle the place and found that it has an average rating of 4.8, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered the roasted garlic & pumpkin soup, the sea king salmon and fish & chips. The soup taste great and the fish & chips is very nice, fresh & crispy. The salmon is fresh too, but the rice is too starchy though, overall , I recommend this place.nnPS: hope the rest of the lady there could smile more :
Excellent food. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. We had venison and pork belly as our main. Dessert was delicious, finished the meal of perfectly in a good July night. Friendly and welcoming hospitality from the host and wait staff. Highly recommend the place and will definitely come back again.
The reviews were glowing and the place was well patronised by locals even midweek in April. It was an interesting menu with a good selection of unusual dishes and some tried and true - like the fish and chips. The whipped feta salad was particularly delicious. The service was friendly and efficient- a really nice evening out.
