The Thomas Green Public House & Dining Room

The food here is delicious and beautifully presented, the dining room is lovely. The staff during the early afternoon was slightly inattentive, but they did have a table with noisy children running amuck to deal with. I just would have appreciated a refill of water with my meal.

Great service and friendly helpful staff. Good GF options and a separate deep fryer. My GF burger was really good.

Sadly highly disappointed with the meal. Starters were dry and cold. The garlic butters had absolutely no garlic in them whatsoever just a big clump of butter. One of the mains would have been below 28c when it should be a hot dish and the other main had barely half cooked chips. Definitely wouldn't recommend. Waiters were grate but you could see from the faces they were making and tone that they could tell the food was not acceptable

Lovely restaurant, all of the main meals were delicious and cooked to perfection. Sadly two of the desserts were not presented how they were described on the menu - The Pavlova was just a shell and more like a meringue and the “Authentic Spanish Bunuelos” which are described as a fried dough fritter simply looked like deep fried wonton wrappers covered in sugar and cinnamon which was disappointing as there was nothing doughy about them. Great service and meals but the desserts were a let down. :
