The Thomas Green Public House & Dining Room

The food here is delicious and beautifully presented, the dining room is lovely. The staff during the early afternoon was slightly inattentive, but they did have a table with noisy children running amuck to deal with. I just would have appreciated a refill of water with my meal.

Have dined here several times. The meals have always been good. However this time they were exceptional.nThe Blue Cod Sashimi followed by the Warm Venison Salad were beautifully presented and very very tasty. Big surprise for a conservative rural town restaurant. Congrats team Thomas Green.

Lovely restaurant, all of the main meals were delicious and cooked to perfection. Sadly two of the desserts were not presented how they were described on the menu - The Pavlova was just a shell and more like a meringue and the “Authentic Spanish Bunuelos” which are described as a fried dough fritter simply looked like deep fried wonton wrappers covered in sugar and cinnamon which was disappointing as there was nothing doughy about them. Great service and meals but the desserts were a let down. :

Great place for quality meals. Had the beef Wellington, cooked to perfection, and the venison salad was also delicious. Service was great even on an extremely busy night, meal was a bit delayed but they apologized and let us know so that was fine. Great atmosphere and ambience, and we've never had a bad meal here.
