We walked in without a booking, welcomed and seated straight away. Ordered the Ribeye Steak with two eggs and amazing meal. Cooked to perfection, melted in your mouth with a fresh salad, grilled tomato and mushrooms topped with two eggs and garlic butter. Was enjoying the meal within 20mins of walk-in. Would recommend booking as was busy and can understand why. Recommend!!!
Beautiful old building. Great service by the staff. Food was delicious. The large seafood chowder is huge. There is a smaller option. I loved the seafood board was excellent, see photo.nI won't go into the specifics of an unfortunate incident but it was handled well.
Really friendly staff, and they even give adults the option of ordering off of the kids menu you just don't get the drink, which suited my elderly parents very much, as they are not big eaters.nEverything was well prepared and came out in a timely manner.nI asked for no tomato in my burger, and not long after, the chef came out to double check it wasn't an allergy thing, as the relish is made of tomato too, and I truly appreciate they went to that effort to check.nWould happily go back in a heart beat :
So we had a booking for 6.30. We are still here waiting for for our meals ar 8.30 We have had to go down bring up our own drinks, we have cleared our own garlic bread plates. People who came in after ua have been feed and gone. I feel sorry for waitresses doing best they can, where is the management?? all this advertising only to be let down by not enough service, only to he forgotten about, no other orders been taken for drinks!! We were put upstairs and diegottwn. Food better be good ....thats if it arrives
Absolutely BEST food spot in Richmond! The service and food since the new owners took over is an easy 10/10!! The portions are huge and good value for money, especially the kids meals. The steak was well-seasoned and buttery, the fish was moist, everything just 10/10!
