We have just celebrated my mother’s 70th birthday at Armadillos, Georgia and the staff have made it so hassle free. From the first time I contacted Georgia at Armadillos, she made us feel at ease. The service was excellent & professional. All the staff were very polite & helpful, and all our guests were very impressed, and no one went home hungry, the finger food was well presented and extremely delicious. We contacted so many venues around the Nelson/Richmond area for this special event and I would have to say, I would highly recommend Armadillos in Richmond for your next event. Part of a group of 9 10/01/25. Lunch. Service, orders taken / food delivered excellent.nSeven of the nine happy with food choices.nThe two steak eaters found their meat tough to cut and eat.nOverall a pleasant get-together.
We had a group dinner 10 ladies on Tuesday night. The food was superb, and very well priced. I think all our group were very happy with their meals & several took advantage of the cheap cocktails & mocktails a great selection of both. The service was friendly and efficient without being ‘in your face’. This is the second time we have had our end of year dinner here, and again were more than happy with everything.

I go to Armadillo's fairly regularly for a good Steak & chips, salad & mushroom sauce and lemonade. Great price for a brilliant tasty feed. That's why I return, plus my Grand-daughter, JAYDE, who received the Tasman Hospitality Group Chef of Year Trophy and she cooks anCHOICE meal, and each time it's great to see, my daughter in-law's smile, Felicity, who is the Bar Manager of the year.
