Room should have been decent to be honest. Mine had the front view of the lake.ruined the experience because I saw hair on the shower even before I got in. Same on the bed very disappointing. QA on the cleaning must not be very strict. Breakfast lunch and dinner was fairly decent. Service was great though and very accommodating staff. Will come back. Hopefully get a better room next time around. Noteworthy details: Very accommodating staff.
One of the best places I have ever stayed. The rooms were good. Individually air-conditioned and an adjustable temperature heated floor in the bathroom. Security is good and the staff very friendly and helpful. The dining room has a glorious atmosphere and the food was outstanding, yet a bit cheaper than many of the nearby restaurants. The lake was just outside and is spectacular. Fishing is available for those who like that sort of thing. Would definitely stay there again.
Beautiful location, however a decent 15-20min drive from the town centre, The hotel is in okay condition, really needs a deep clean and some maintenance, just looks a little worn currently. The staff and service they provided was brilliant. The room was adequate - very dated decor / finishings, the bed was super comfy and the view was amazing. Could do with a deep clean.
Twin lakeside room, adequate,small TV,no electric blanket,has a bath but no complimentary bath products. Basin did not have a plug. No instructions for heatpump, had to get service to work out how to get heat. Food & drinks: Bar not open until 6pm, same time as restaurant opens. Dinner was terrible, steak was medium well done not medium rare as requested. Steamed vegetables arrived after meal was finished but was so hungry still ate them. Complained to wait staff and received a very small discount off bill. Buffet breakfast was mostly lukewarm to cold as no heat under serving dishes.
Great location and views were good. The commute to the city took a while coz of road works. The service was quite bad though, we were staying and working and requested room clean up before 12:30p.m. but either due to staff shortage or just a lack of interest this was not done. Great for one night stays wouldn't recommend for business travel. Rooms: The rooms were well equipped and quite modern.
Acceptable. I hope management will consider renovating, or at least deep cleaning the bathrooms. If you are after the lake view, it is okay. It is a long way from town to get food. If the rooms were better, we wouldn’t mind driving but for how it looks, it’s not worth it.
I stayed at this hotel two weeks ago and had a very disappointing experience. The main issues were dirty stains on the pillows, leftover trash from the previous guest in the room, and a large number of insect corpses near the window. Additionally, I had booked a lake view room, but upon entering the room, I found that the most beautiful part of the lake view was obstructed by the roof of the first floor, which greatly diminished the anticipated scenery.
A beautiful location, especially the Lake front rooms. Several repairs are needed in the room we stayed in, but clean. The restaurant staff were fantastic & friendly. Nice spa pools. Rooms are not sound proof, so it is not quiet if you have loud noisy neighbours in the night. The downside was that we had a Grabone deal, clearly pre booked by phone and at time of check in however on checking out a late checkout included the staff did not know about all that is included in the deal, very disappointing, so better communication to all their staff would be helpful. Not sure we would recommend or go there again. Rooms: Clean, comfortable beds, not sound proof with rooms either side. Several things needed repairing in the room.
Location right by the lake is very nice and peaceful. Staff was not helpful and seemed annoyed at every conversation. Nice size room but definitely need a proper clean. Found some dirty socks from another guest on the floor. Mould in showers. Rubbish bin broken... Definitely not a luxury place to stay.
Great location. Our room was a bit tired and needed some maintenance, but bed was comfy and we slept well.Rooms: 4/5
