The Puhoi Pub Hotel & Stables...Est 1879

Sunny Saturday afternoon, fantastic crowd. Wonderful bikes and cool cars and lovely food. What's not to like!!! The menu is simple but well cooked. Beer was cold and a band was playing from early afternoon. What's not to like right?

As always, this is THE best pub in New Zealand. Always a wonderful atmosphere, always great and friendly service and always tasty as food. You'd be doing yourself a disservice not going to Puhoi.

A must-do place to visit. A very quirky pub with amazing memorabilia from the past adorning the walls and ceilings. Sensational food. The chicken pizza with Puhoi brie and cranberries was stunning. The steak was cooked to perfection. Good range of beers. The Puhoi Ale was yum. Su in a rustic rural setting. Very picturesque.

Great atmosphere and great food! Was pleased we swung by on the way home from Kawau Island. Calamari was delish, and the burger with Puhoi Valley bye cheese & fries very good too. The beers also. Just watch out for ducks. One knocked his bottle of Steinlager off the table.
