Mainsail Bar & Bistro

Hands down some of the best Indian food I've had here! I ordered the garlic bread and butter chicken, and was not disappointed. The staff was friendly, service was fast, and the atmosphere was fantastic. 10/10 will definitely be making this a must-go on our holidays here.

Lucky runs a great pub with his own restaurant next door so you get excellent pub food here! There’s a good beer selection on tab with a very well stocked bar behind the counter. Plenty of space to sit inside or outside, 2 dart boards to play and a water bowl for the dog. And you can even have a meeting here if you want to go local. All in all, versatile place well worth going for work or leisure, drink as well as food!

My daughter& I had been exploring the wetlands and pristine peninsular beaches! Suddenly it was coffee and lunch time, we were at GULF HARBOUR at this stage! The “MAINSAIL” bar & bistro caught our attention with its welcoming look! We were greeted by an attractive waitress who directed us to a nice table in the outdoor area. We ordered our coffee, pizza & steamed vegetables! ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS and beautifully presented. We felt special, as the waitress came and checked how we were enjoying the food! We were delighted with all aspects of our visit to “MAINSAIL” and will go again! Always exceptional service and amazing food.nThe atmosphere is always buzzing in the bar, or a quieter more relaxed setting in the restaurant. Best of both worlds! Best fish and chips I’ve ever had. The curries and naan to die for, garlic prawn salad delish, I could go on! Great selection of drinks too

We ordered the Meat Platter, Crispy Calamari, Samosa Chaat, Lollipop chicken, Goan Goat Curry, and an order of Naan, and every single dish was perfectly executed. The quality was so high that the only reason to eventually stop eating was simply being full.nThe excellence of the food is matched only by the remarkable staff. We cannot speak highly enough of the warmth and genuine care shown by both the chefs and the service crew, they were simply the absolute best.nBeyond the culinary experience, Main Sail offers a wonderful atmosphere.
