The Portage - A THC Group Hotel

After a long road through very windy tracks we were treated to the best fish and chips we've ever had. Big portion with crispy chips fresh salad and perfectly cooked fish. Friendly staff and very clean. Well done.

Stayed overnight at Portage in the Weka room. Great location in a beautiful bay. Room was large and had everything we needed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate lunch and dinner at the restaurant and the food was excellent.

Really nice spot, love to come back. Right by the water so go play in the water then relax on the deck outside the snapper bar with a cold drink then enjoy an evening meal at the portage restaurant next door

Clean rooms. Quite a hard bed room 7 and poor water pressure. Nice friendly staff. Lunch provided for Queen Charlotte Walk, overall okay but sandwich could have used some dressing, a bit dry. Really liked The Snapper Bar and eatery very much recommended! Good food and drinks however only open on Friday and Sat.

Beautiful spot. Some issues with the room but nothing to major. Price was good and you can eat oysters off the beach. Pretty cool.

Amazing views friendly staff. Caitlin was especially helpful, helping organise our outings.

Lost diamond in the sounds. Fantastic views. Even driving there is breathtaking.
