Went to the Brook for mother's day lunch, was very busy and we hadn't booked, yet still was welcomed and found a table. Our young child was offered colouing and we were given the drinks menu and our meals didnt take too long considering how busy the were and no pre booking. The meals were delicious, a great size and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommend
Always a great experience at the Plough. Service is great, staff are very attentive and food is always yummy as well as the dessert. If you haven't tried the Hotel Burger, get down there and try it!! My absolute fave.

But the chips that come with the burger we're Very disappointing they look like they've been sitting in the oil in the deep fryer too long.They would terrible.
I can not answer the other categories but…nnThe staff are very friendly and accommodatingnnWe ordered food by a waitress who remembered everything and the food was fantastic.nnThe hotel burger my mate had was massive and I wish I had it.nnThe chicken snitzel was also divine with no grumbles about the steak sandwich.nnThis place is geared for people’s entertainment and food and although looking old fashioned, has charm and character.nnApart from a tidy up and restoration, it was only because it is so popular and well used.nn10/10 in my books for everything else
Went to the plough earlier this week and was really disappointed. The food was well priced but still not worth it, no flavour. And the staff, I understand it’s a pub but swearing is not a standard you should have. The service was below average and overall the place itself looks like it’s falling apart.
