It is a local watering hole..popular with locals. I don't know what the accommodation is like. They serve typical pub meals..but the waitress kept forgetting to bring some of the order. She gave my husband a free ice cream by way if an apology though which was nice.
It seems when requests to simplify a meal due to an intolerance fall to the flip of a coin here. Makes it an unreliable dining venue at the best of times. A shame considering it's so incredibly simple to just not include part of a meal when it's not actually key to it, or put it on the side of you really must serve it. Whether the order taker or kitchen staff are the cause of this remains unclear. Not mad, just frustrated and disappointed.
Had a great night with family and friends. The rugby was on and very loud but just added to the atmosphere. The portions are large so come with an appetite.
Thanks to the Plough crew, they always go above and beyond to make us feel so welcome!nWe had dinner & drinks with a group of 10, the service and food was absolutely amazing from start to finish, it’s without a doubt the best spot in Rangiora. cheers guys
Came to the restaurant. Didn't start in the hotel, but Google keeps popping me onto the hotel review form.nnThe beer battered cod was delicious. The service was friendly and prompt.
