I can not answer the other categories but…nnThe staff are very friendly and accommodatingnnWe ordered food by a waitress who remembered everything and the food was fantastic.nnThe hotel burger my mate had was massive and I wish I had it.nnThe chicken snitzel was also divine with no grumbles about the steak sandwich.nnThis place is geared for people’s entertainment and food and although looking old fashioned, has charm and character.nnApart from a tidy up and restoration, it was only because it is so popular and well used.nn10/10 in my books for everything else
On holiday to see my Kiwi cousins and he recommended we go to the Plough for a few beers.nWhat a great place , the beers are cold and fresh, the staff friendly and ready with quick come backs to Aussie baiting , and the Blue Cod was absolutely spectacular.nI highly recommend this establishment and will fly back over for an All Blacks vs Wallabies game as the banter will be fantastic.nWell done Plough Hotel, one of the best pubs I have frequented.
Great value for money. Excellent service. Food was out quickly and nice qualitynGood size portions. Great variety kids menu. Staff very attentive and nice. Will definitely eat here again. Also play area out back for kids.
It is a local watering hole..popular with locals. I don't know what the accommodation is like. They serve typical pub meals..but the waitress kept forgetting to bring some of the order. She gave my husband a free ice cream by way if an apology though which was nice.
Sad to say it was not a good experience for my husband birthday with familynPlace was packed we ordered a starter thinking we could start on that. One hour later the starter turned up together with the sea food chowder which became watery.
