: Wow. Actually blown away with how incredible the food was. One of the best burgers I've had in a looong time. Fish and chips that were actually worth the price tag AND they have incredible specials like two for one steaks that are actually cooked so well?!. Don't even get me started on the desserts, or we'll be here all day!nn: With the location and inclusion of a bar and gambling space, you wouldn't expect the welcoming and warm lovely family vibe you get as soon as you enter. Booked a table on Christmas day for a dinner. Service was amazing. Very quick service and they were responsive to our needs.nCalamari was a little undercooked but came with a pinenut salad that was delicious.nMain meal, Wagyu burger was substantial and flavorsome.nGood portion sizes and prices.
What a cool wee bar, went with a friend to see her friends band with an 80s theme ... wow what a great night : Staff were very pleasant drinks were served fast, we got loaded wedges very hot and covered in cream cheese, cheese and bacon. Yum. The toilets were easy to get to and no lines. Totally recommend this bar if you are looking for a comfortable relaxed atmosphere. There's $20 roast meals on Sundays just FYI. The Danger80s band were fantastic, all the 80s classics, easy to sing along too and two really good sets. Room to dance and sing along. They are playing on the 1st May at the Richmond Club. Totally recommend this band if you love good music, a laugh and a dance.
I'm fussy and there is always something not nice, or just a disappointing meal. Omg, their smoky pork ribs were absolutely Devine, the sauce didn't get sticky at the end like most, the potatoes and coleslaw were a perfect match. One very very satisfied customer!! And excellent service. Thank you.
I rarely bother writing negative reviews, but my experience at this restaurant was so consistently poor that it deserves a clear warning for anyone considering eating here.nnThe biggest disaster of the night was the calamari. Instead of being crisp, light, and tender, it arrived limp, soggy, and weirdly rubbery. The batter was mushy and tasted like it had been fried in old oil. It was bland, unpleasant, and honestly hard to chew through. Easily some of the worst calamari I’ve ever been served.nnThe other dishes didn’t save the meal either. Everything felt under-seasoned, poorly cooked, and thrown together with zero care. Nothing tasted fresh, the textures were off, and the overall flavour was below average. For food priced at $35+ per plate, you expect at least basic quality – but this was nowhere near it.nnWhat made the whole experience even more frustrating was the fact that if you wanted any sauce, you had to pay extra. Not premium sauces, not special add-ons – literally any sauce. Charging additional fees for a tiny side of something that should already come with the dish is wild, especially when the food itself is already overpriced and poorly executed.nnThis restaurant needs some work will never be coming back again
