I have always rated palms well, but not after today! They closed at 5pm and I arrived at 3.50pm I was waiting in line with my very sick son who is 6 years old and he couldn't walk so I was standing in line carrying him, they finally got to me I was the last in the line and the receptionist said sorry the doctor just told me they cant see anymore patients for the day. I couldn't not believe this i waited in line for so long carrying him then told no one can see him well before closing time! Luckily City Doctor's were happy to take him and turns out he had an extremely bad case of strep throat.
I have been with the Palms for 17 years, at times for a lack of alternatives, however, they have hugely improved lately, really cut back on waiting time. We have frequently now come through the walk-In clinic without prior appointment, and where in and out within the hour. I also feel they are taking patients more serious now, and do more test to actually get to the bottom of issues rather then just medicating the symptoms. So thumbs up from me
Very bad experience, it was first time i was visiting my gp and my gp was dr. Umais jalal she gave me a wrong medicine and when I messaged her she didn’t even reply me back, and when i was describing my problem she was like you are still young and having all this problem what will you do after child and all and I didn’t like that all.
Make every interaction difficult. Will not order repeat prescriptions without a face to face appointment. Reception is rude. Worst decision ever joining The Palms. Will be changing to my old provider.
I have lived in Palmy for almost 3 years now and have been enrolled at The Palms for approximately 6 months. Have always had nothing but the best service from them, whether it be as a walk in patient to the acute care, seeing my GP there, or picking up a script from the chemist. I always find all of their staff to be kind, compassionate and caring, including the receptionists. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
