Our family has received excellent medical care from Hokowhitu Medical over many years. Reception staff and nurses are patient and considerate and the doctors have always been caring and detailed in consults. Dr Minnee has gone far above and beyond on many occasions, providing very thorough clinical care and advocating for us through the medical system.
My daughter and I see Dr Sam Illing and we always have amazing service with him. He is the best doctor we have seen. We never feel dismissed or silly for coming in. I've never been a fan of going to the doctor's but Dr Sam is very caring and also great with babies, which is what every mother wants. I can always get an appointment that day too if I call with something urgently, unlike other practices where I've heard you have to wait literally weeks to be seen!!
Amazing clinic. Calm atmosphere, friendly, warm, helpful staff who go out of their way to smooth over any challenges that a patient may face regarding bureaucracy or access. Dr. Illing has been particularly kind and thoughtful, and has a sharp diagnostic mind if the occasion requires. Amazing team all round.
So thankful for Dr Sam and Rosie who sorted my son out.Within a matter of minutes I had a script and medication for my son who was in extreme pain. Thank you for saving us today after a very bad experience at ED.
I've been very impressed with my baby's care here. I was worried about my sons breathing and although the practise was full for the day he was able to be seen almost immediately. Can't recommend more highly!
