Hidden away upstairs in the heart of Courtenay Place sits The Library. Fun and frivilous cocktails, exquisite and obscure wines, delicious desserts, exceptional cheese and scrumptious savoury snacks make this a great place to meet before or after a show. The Library also has live music every Tuesday and Friday evening.

Didn't order anything to eat. Although we tried a few of the Easter contrail cocktails, that was so much fun This is such a cool place to hang out. Great atmosphere, live jazz in the background, and multiple corners for privacy. I absolutely love this place.
Got a drink after dinner elsewhere, very cool vibe with bookshelves lining the rooms. Cocktails are very creative! Got the zelandia which looks just like the park thyme sprig garnish, as well as dried slice, and my friend got one with honey, had a bee imprinted on top. Very cute place to stop in if you get a chance!Service: 3/5

Really neat speakeasy / jazz bar with booths and live music 3 days of the week. Cocktail menu was extensive catering for all different tastes, and the dessert menu had a few options to choose from which were all tasty. Would definitely come back here every time I visit Wellington!Food: 4/5
I absolutely love visiting the library, the live music that they showcase a few nights a week really add to the beautiful atmosphere in this popular bar. The combination of wine and their cheese boards has been a go-to recently, I will definitely keep coming back to try their large range of cocktails. The service is also lovely, very efficient and friendly waitstaff, thanks for the great experience guys!
Stopped here on a friend's recommendation, had to use passports for entry and Australian drivers licence cannot be used. Service was lovely, drinks were nice, food was nibble size which is what you want for cocktails. Atmosphere was goodFood: 5/5
We went on a Friday. Had the secret life of bees cocktail and ive never had honey as a predominant taste for a cocktail! It was delightful. We also had the coffee pudding which was comforting and went well with the cocktail. We also enjoyed the live jazz band which is hard to find anywhere nowadays.Food: 5/5
