Would have been a five star review however... Could not fault the cocktails or food. Absolutely delicious & the cocktails were probably the best had the whole time in Wellington. However, the service didn't exist. Had previously asked when booked for gluten free options, however staff didn't know what was available. We were literally the only people in the place and we didn't get served. Even once they said they would come to us they didn't. It was a bit disappointing as the staff were friendly, just didn't acknowledge we were there. Would go back for the food & drinks as that out weighted any lack of service :
Not being able to get Cocktails an hour before closing is pretty disappointing, otherwise the venue is nice and a pretty good vibe. The eftpos machine basically sitting in the ice used for drinks is pretty gross.
Waited 1 hour for cocktail honestly could have made them at home for the group quicker. Which is what I would do next time. As the sober driver fact that I then had people then try to tell me you've only been waiting a couple of minutes makes the customer service even worse. As these drinks were for people in my group I was aware of the time I paid and how long we had been waiting. Don't assume all your patrons are tanked!
First time we have been to this Wellington classic. Drinks are fairly standard. Bar team are friendly. But location is amaaaazing and there was a good few people on the dance floor. Even saw fireworks up close and personal!
It was a great rooftop type of bar. Loved the lights, the warming lamps, the view ^^ the drinks were on the expensive side but it's to be expected given the location and the vibe. I would recommand going there
My friend and I recently visited this place in the evening. We walked in and asked for a table, but they ignored us for 3 minutes, walking straight past us. When we went to order our food, the menu price did not match the price that they were charging us for. We asked for the correct pricing as the menu, but they were rude and reluctant, but eventually gave in. When we got our order to our table, they gave us the incorrect sauces. We asked for the correct sauce and they were rude and did not give us the sauce. There was also a missing fork at our table. The service here was terrible, like a dirty little secret.
Came down for a holiday with my family, had booked a table a month in advance, got to the venue and there were people at our reserved table, ordered drinks and the Red haired girl had a bad attitude acted and looked like she didn't want to be there and was glaring at us everytime I looked towards the bar. I work in customer service myself and never have i experienced service like this! I thank the staff that were welcoming and it is a great location spot but the one staff member here just ruined it for me.
Hidden bar in Wellington. When we went Monday night it was fairly empty so we almost had the place to ourselves. Service was quick and it's a great way to see Wellington from up high - they also have glass-like windows so you're protected from the wind and from falling off the roof top
Went to the rooftop on Monday to surprise our friend for her 30th. We booked a table and turned up bit late which was no issue to the staff. The manager Jemima & bartender we had Daniel went above & beyond for us!! It was an extremely windy and cold night so for them to even stay open was awesome!!. We were given blankets, hot water bottles, heaters were on, the little ceiling lights.. The manager even played a song for our friends arrival which made her feel special & happy. We were given complimentary dessert for the occasion which was so kind!! The bartender came over and offered us use of a tripod to take some photos!! Was an amazing night and they really went all out for us with their customer service!! I have been there before and will always highly reccomend anyone to visit when in Wellington no matter the weather thanks again- look forward to the next visit!!
