The Kitchen Door

This is an OMG place and I predict a Michelin reviewer will come one day and list it! You can tell when culinary art is on the details, from the pork pies with the in-house jelly, the subtle flavors add-ons into every piece of pastry and nevermind the broad array of options. I’m traveling and don’t like visiting a place twice, but with this place drag me back for a second visit in a row. Take the bacon home, don’t skip the Yorkshire Pudding wrap, and gamble to whatever call your eyes as it will be good as well. In house roasted coffee , a must try. Don’t skip the dessert and Ice creams! I voted for Roasted Appricot! Love it!

Stumbled upon this place on our way to the Marina. Loved the Cornish pasty and the Venison pie. IT was goooood. The cold pork pie was not to my liking... But my brother seemed to enjoy it. They have a good collection of drinks and ice creams too. The owner and the staff are a friendly bunch.

The BEST Cornish Pasty ever! Don’t trust any of the lower star reviews. The most flavourful meat and potato filling and beautiful short pastry! So delicious. Coffee was great and the ice creams delicious as well! I had the NZ plum flavour - delicious! Thanks so much for a delicious lunch

We did order pork pie which is lovely only for me it's a little bit salty however my husband loves it. I like the cheese corn and pasty. It's kid's friendly because there are wooden blocks for kid's to fibble with their hands to keep them entertained while adults enjoy their cup of tea. Staff are all accomodating and friendly. Food and coffee are all great with heaps of outdoor space during good weather. I highly recommend this for families with kids. It's a lovely place for everyone near the marina and ferry station.

Beautiful place, great service and delicious food. We had Cornish pasties, which are like our empanadas, and they were delicious. The French baguette-style bread was also delicious. We recommend it. Maxi and Flor
