The Kitchen Door

First time trying this place while out exploring, Wanted just a coffee but me being me if theirs pies for sale I've gotta have one haha. Got a traditional British pork pie different to what I'm used to here.nnCrust was tasty and crunchy, pork had good flavour and the jelly filling stuff on the bottom was interesting definitely a unique kind of mix but hey I wasn't complaining it's a pie after all.nnFlay white was brewed just right and the staff were very friendly.

Came across this delightful spot after visiting Shakespeare Regional Park. The Yorkshire beef pudding wraps are absolutely genius & we will be making the 1 hour drive up for these again. The pasties rival those in the UK and the real fruit ice creams were equally divine that white choco & mint sauce though . Staff were super friendly & overall a topnotch experience. Cannot wait to come back & try everything else!nnP.S. As someone who's only ever had a hot pie, the Melton Mowbray pork pie best/only served cold, so perhaps not the the fainthearted was a fun experience for the tastebuds & a hit with the fam

Excellent food quality, highly recommend the scotch egg, and the pasties have lovely thick and delicious pastry. Great range of food options. Lovely service from the staff, very friendly and welcoming. Great place to sit and enjoy a freshly made pastry and drink. Will be enjoying this place again and again on any available sunny day.

Charming pastry stop passionately baking top notch pork pies, pasties & Scotch eggs - UK style. They are very good - but for someone who has travelled across Cornwall taste testing - the pasty pastry is a little thick. Best in this hemisphere though I’m sure! There is lovely outdoor seating and incredible staff. There are no dairy free food options sadly - but you gotta use legit ingredients to get legit results.

Delicious pies, great coffee and customer service. Definitely the best pies I ate in Auckland so far. Yum!
