The Kitchen Door

We did order pork pie which is lovely only for me it's a little bit salty however my husband loves it. I like the cheese corn and pasty. It's kid's friendly because there are wooden blocks for kid's to fibble with their hands to keep them entertained while adults enjoy their cup of tea. Staff are all accomodating and friendly. Food and coffee are all great with heaps of outdoor space during good weather. I highly recommend this for families with kids. It's a lovely place for everyone near the marina and ferry station.

Lovely location and staff, food was average at best, pork pies were overly salted, the smoked beef pie was the stand out but I wouldn't get it again. The beef and cheese was gross, Pastie was bland.all and all the pastry was very thick and over powered the contents. Fruit pies were ok though not what I would consider memorable. If I had to I would not eat there again, it screams standard British fare, bland and tasteless and expensive 6 items $70 - Disappointing.

GREAT food and local coffee! These are proper chefs who are passionate about what they’re making and it really shows. Like, really good food man. If someone handed me a Cornish pasty on a cold rainy day I would be the happiest boy alive. Pork pies are COLD. They are supposed to be cold. Atmosphere got 4 starts just because I’m pretty sure it’s all outdoor seating, in winter I would grab and go.

First time trying this place while out exploring, Wanted just a coffee but me being me if theirs pies for sale I've gotta have one haha. Got a traditional British pork pie different to what I'm used to here.nnCrust was tasty and crunchy, pork had good flavour and the jelly filling stuff on the bottom was interesting definitely a unique kind of mix but hey I wasn't complaining it's a pie after all.nnFlay white was brewed just right and the staff were very friendly.
