Great dinner after a long drive! Fish stew was our favourite, very flavorful sauce. We also ordered a platter, pork ribs, lamb rack and kid’s fish&chips - all yummy, we finished everything including desserts! The cheesecake and sticky date pudding with icecream were soooo good!!! Excellent service from the owner, Fran. Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re visiting Methven :
Delicious and delightful. Locally owned and operated by a young couple - the head chef and manager who have created a lovely atmosphere, including a kids area that our restless little ones really enjoyed. Highly recommend the ribs and the prosciutto wrapped chicken.

WOW, awesome food, very friendly staff. The food was amazing. It was a busy night, and the service was prompt, and the meals came out in good time. Lamb rack cooked to perfection. My husband had a seafood stew. He has not stopped talking about it. I am not a big fish eater, but I was also seriously impressed. We will be back. Thanks.
