Went to the Blue Pub in Methven last night and had a great time. The pub is easily recognisable from the road, which makes it hard to miss. The staff service was excellent — friendly and efficient even though the place was packed.nnI was pleasantly surprised to find they had a live band playing, which really added to the atmosphere. The food was good, and the whole place had a fun, lively vibe. Definitely a popular spot and well worth a visit.
Thanks to Dylan for being truly great host. Always enjoy visiting the Blue Pub. There was some deep sadness though. I have been craving the backed brie ND the corn ribs for months. Checking the menu... what?! Where are they? Not on the menu anymore . won't stop us coming back though!
Staff were friendly quick service. Loved all tge games to play while waiting for food corn hole, shut the gate etc. Had the Monday pizza and beer special. Pizza was very filling, saved half for dinner. Daughters loaded fries huge and tasty.
Me and my partner are on holiday and saw the blue pub by chance and decided to have dinner here on our last night in methven. I had the rib eye steak and my partner had the grilled cod both of our meals were amazing. We are incredibly happy with service we received and will definitely let family and friends know about our fantastic experience here.
Great garden bar. Fair range of beer. Food comes in huge portions but is not exactly fine dining. Beef and lamb were nicely cooked, though. Young inexperienced staff are not sure what they're doing.
