The Duke of Wellington, Dunedin

Loved the place & was keen to.go there again. But it does not serve food. I was surprised that this is possible in 2020 when I understood that bars are supposed to provide food. It may explain the limited opening days& hours. A pity as this is a significant historic venue with amazing restoration completed.

Great English style pub with all the best English beers on tap.

Fabulous old heritage building, with a wonderful bar. Nice decor, great service, cosy place for a quiet drink or two

A must visit for a good beer. The Hobgoblin is very good.

Great atmosphere, nice selection of beers, beer garden out back, Victorian decor throughout, what more could you ask for from a pub.

Amazing pub. Fully refurbished with beautiful decor. Great selection of beers. The best cheese platter. And friendly service. A must visit when you are in Dunedin.

Have been meaning to try the Duke for a few months and finally did tonight. They serve a great selection of quality beers that I intend to work through over the summer months. Definitely looking forward to my next visit.

Great pub. Well worth a visit for the decor alone. Amazing selection of beers I haven't seen in years!

Not just English ales, all of Britain gets represented. Regular rotation of the good stuff. Good old pub feel. Happy to have a pint here any time.
