Depot Artspace is a creative community based in Devonport, Auckland, New Zealand.

Story

Depot Artspace encourages engagement in all art forms and offers a variety of facilities, services and events that support and encourage creativity by providing opportunities for participation and appreciation. Since the Depot opened in 1996, the available facilities and services have constantly grown and developed in response to community needs. At this time galleries, a professional development programme, publications, a recording studio and more, are provided to assist groups and individuals in their path towards sustainable creative living and to celebrate Aotearoa/New Zealand’s rich and diverse cultural heritage.

We support independent artists and arts organisations to connect, converse, collaborate, grow, learn and succeed.Through our Creative Futures programmes, Depot Artspace, Depot Sound and our creative community networks we work to collaboratively showcase, support, empower and platform artists and arts practitioners and advocate for the arts."
