Located directly opposite the Auckland Art Gallery, Gow Langsford Gallery represents over thirty established New Zealand and international artists. Gow Langsford is one of the country’s most established galleries and is widely regarded as its most influential dealer gallery. Alongside a regular and varied exhibition schedule, Gow Langsford is a market leader in works on the secondary market.From 2008 - 2021 the Gallery also ran a second viewing space on Lorne St which is now permanently closed to the public."

A fantastic central city art gallery that has a wide variety of exhibitions that change monthly from well known New Zealand artists and internationally renowned artists too. Always a pleasure visiting Gow Langsford Gallery!

Entrance free of charge or not

Hubby and I visited the gallery in Feb 2016 and they had a exhibition called ONE DAY IN THE AFTERNOON OF THE GODS by artist Max Gimblett which we found very unusual. Also very expensive to buy.

Road cone exhibition, great realism but would have felt more at home with a paper mache lollipop man.

We came into the city to see an exhibition on labour weekend Saturday but it was closed. Your website said OPEN. You can change this setting to avoid inconvenience.

Great paintings and great vibes pop in for a visit some time
