Today I ordered the big breakfast. The mushrooms, sausages, bacon came out cold. The scrambled eggs were so overcooked from being cooked in microwave and dry I couldn’t bare to eat it. The dish was missing tomato relish and when I asked for it, they said they ran out. The whole dish was so dry I was in shock, just ate it and left. Abit of a cheek asking $30 for that dish
We had a very disappointing experience at The Coffee Club, The Grange in Warkworth on Saturday, 29 June 2024. Our visit started off with high hopes, but it quickly went downhill. We ordered fried eggs medium on toast; and what we received was far from acceptable. The eggs were hard, rubber-like, and even had a burn spot in the middle. We called the waitress over to let her know that we were not satisfied with the eggs and asked her how they had cooked the eggs. Her response was "we put it through the grill". We were taken aback by this - we ordered fried eggs, not grilled. We then politely asked the waitress to redo the eggs as they were inedible, she pointed to a picture on the menu and asked if we wanted eggs like the picture. We confirmed, hoping for a better outcome. Unfortunately, the second attempt was even worse. The eggs were fused together, rock hard, and still rubber-like. They looked nothing like the picture on the menu. To make matters worse, the waitress was very unfriendly throughout the whole ordeal. Despite the fact that we couldn't eat the food, she didn't even offer to refund our money i.e. 2x eggs on toast for $29 each, equaling $58 excl. our drinks!! Additionally, for two people, they served a ciabatta cut into quarters, passing two quarters off as two slices of toast. This felt very stingy and misleading. We left both meals, paid for, untouched, on the table and decided to find a better place to have breakfast. Overall, the food was bad, the service was horrible, and the portion sizes were disappointing. We won't be returning to The Coffee Club and wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a decent meal.

The food and coffee were amazing all the time I visit, and the staff are very accommodating. I love the flat grill-chicken cramembert. Coffee Club has become one of my fave brekky nook. The lady at the counter is really nice and friendly. I usually visit in the morning. The place is very neat. I have been to their Orewa Branch as well. So far services rendered to me were really great and the food was amazing.
Really disappointed in the food. The serving staff were helpful and friendly. That's where the 2 for the review came into it. Otherwise it would have been a 1. I ask you how hard is it to cook a decent side of chips? Really & the vegie burger was slosh. For $25 my own meal was extremely disappointing . I will not waste my money here again. My Iced coffee tasted like a chocolate mix.
Dropped in for a quick lunch on a rainy Sunday. The staff were beyond amazing, I even watched one of them help a elderly man to his car. We really felt welcomed and they appreciated our custom. Totally enjoyed our milkshakes and loaded fries. Will definitely be back.
Came here for breakfast as there was no where else open on a Sunday morning at 8am in Warkworth. So glad we did though!! The staff were so welcoming, the food was really nice, the coffee was great, it was nice and clean inside and there was no one else there! I actually can't believe I have never been there before! Unfortunately because of the motorway I guess not many people pass this way anymore, which is a shame. But I tell you now, this is a super place to go for good food and good coffee
If I could gave minus stars for the food, I would definitely give. The most expensive breakfast we had so far in New Zealand. Amount of food were ridiculous. Our bread was old and stale and the pancake was not even cooked. Only the woman on the counter was nice and friendly. But nevertheless I would not recommend it!
Perfect place for a cuppa and breakfast. Food is great, waiting time and price is reasonable. However, staff can be more friendly, a smile goes a long way! Cleanliness wise, a good vacuum on the carpet will be great too..
The big sign outside advertising a $15 breakfast deal is no longer. They blame the high price of a new sign as the reason for it still being there. Please stop misleading customers.
