Absolutely love coming to little and local each time I visit the area. Food = delicious + great portion size we needed doggy bags! Service = smiles always on staff faces and super friendly always cater to your wishes. We visited L&L for dinner this week, both of us had excellent meals, cannot fault either the service or the food quality. The restaurant was extremely busy the night we were there, however this did not impact of the service we received. The young lady who was our server was most helpful, as we both asked if we could have slightly altered meals that were on the menu. This was just not an issue, and when our meals arrived, they were spot on. My only adverse comment about my meal was, it was too large, I could not finish it. You will not leave this establishment feeling hungry, if my meal is any thing to go by. Definitely recommend L&L for a great meal, in comfortable surroundings, and excellent service especially if our experience is anything to go by. We will certainly be coming back. **** My wife and I went to try out the Bistro for lunch today, I made a mistake in ordering two entrees, as normally an entree on its own is pretty small. However at "Little and Local" that's not the case, they were more than I could eat. The spicy calimari was excellent, first class, and the mussels were also good. My wife had fish and chips. The batter on the fish could have been crispier, as the batter was soft and not cooked hot enough, however the chips were perfect. The coffee, was absolutely perfect, better than most cafés anywhere. Definitely can recommend this place. Just a note, I would have preferred the waitress to have waited until we had totally finished our meals before she came to wipe down the table, the same situation occured at the table next to ours. I came up from Auckland especially to take my friend out to lunch for a “special number” birthday. We both had a most enjoyable time: there was a good variety of suitably-priced choices of food, the staff were most welcoming, friendly, and paid extra special attention to the birthday person. We sat in the outdoor area, and at no stage did we feel hurried to leave or to order more food or drinks. This was the second time I have been there, the first time being for dinner, and the same great service and hospitality was evident then also. Highly recommended!

We had dinner there twice while staying up in Martin's Bay and I would happily say that I had the best fish and chips meal I've ever had, and also the chicken tacos meal was beyond amazing and they deserve a five star rating!! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a great experience!! Food: 5/5

Great place for a casual drink or evening meal. The atmosphere is very pleasant. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. The staff are attentive but not obtrusive. We came 3 nights in a row, trying different dishes. Each and every meal was excellent. Compliments to the chefs and all staff.Food: 5/5

Small interior room with 6 tables of 4 and small terrace. Simple bistro-style cuisine, but good, slightly spicy dish. A good time during a stage. Petite salle intérieure avec 6 tables de 4 et petite terrasse. Cuisine simple type bistro, mais bonne, plat légèrement épicé. Un bon moment lors d'une étape.

Had dinner on 2 different nights over the long weekend. Couldn't fault the meals. Fish was super fresh, and the flan was epic!!! The staff were relaxed and friendly. Fully recommended
