Overpriced smashed avocado on toast. $17 for two pieces of white bread, a less than generous portion of avocado and two eggs. Toast was hard and cold and so were the eggs. Not a great deal of options for those with food sensitivities. Coffee was good and a good selection of alternate milks.

Been here plenty of times over the years, and it's changed owners a few times. There was a stint where the food went south. It's picked up a bit, but it's still just "ok" for what you pay. You won't go wrong ordering a hot drink and enjoying a piece of cake. The atmosphere needs a lot of work, and it wouldn't take much. Having the roof covered with white spherical paper lantern pendant would give it plenty of contrast.

Coffee and food were great, lovely friendly staff, warm environment. Eggs bene with bacon and BLT cooked just the way it should be.Food: 5/5

Relaxed and casual atmosphere. I snacked on a bowl of hot chips. Should you want to pay good money for a proper meal/lunch and are hungry then head for a restaurant.Food: 3/5

Although the interior is very old fashion but I'm Dutch, a kiwi might judge differently, it is a welcoming place. Perfectly located next to the children's playground. Staff is friendly too. The quality of the food was very good. I've had the nachos and it was extremely filling, tasty later I found out I could have asked for a half portion, I wish I knew before as it was too much and delicious. A good price for such a good meal. I would definitely visit again.

Yesterday was SO busy but the staff were amazing despite the chaos. Delicious hot chips & superior coffee. Thanks so much for your wonderful service guys

Nice food selection The fresh in house muffins are divine. Lovely location and friendly staff Great to see they are opening for evening meals. Look forward to trying this option. Is a little on the expensive side

The cafe is a little tired looking but don't put that off you eating there. Great food and coffee. Vegetarian options: They have a menu but you can ask for non meat items.
