Simply the best fish and chips I have had in a very long time. The snapper was fresh, the batter was so perfect I actually ate it normally I will pull the batter off my fish, the chips were perfect and the service was excellent and very friendly!! I even felt the need to go back and tell them how lovely the food was! Will most definitely eat there again!!

Fish n chips here are pretty good. Food was prepared quickly, and the staff were friendly. Pricing was reasonable for fresh snapper. Overall, a great little diary and definitely worth a stop for a bite to eat.

Love the burgers. Great to have somewhere local to get food when lazy. The person who left a 1 star review sounds like an over entitled dilly dallow who forgets that the reason they are buying food is because they either can't cook for themselves or are to lazy. They would probably have a solid whinge to somebody if there was no take away haha.

Very popular place. Ordered takeaways. Had to wait for an hour but well worth the wait.

The point wells general store service was very unpleasant, we experienced cold and unhelpful staff. We felt very unwelcome and awkward ordering. This was very disappointing because the food was good and we had high expectations. Sorry to say they definitely did not exceed them.

Friendly, local, walking distance, reasonably priced, very convenient !, always pleasant, good coffee. A little gem

So we’ve indulged in the General Stores takeaways for near on 4 years now, mainly because it was so bloody good! Tonight tho, it appears the art of cooking the perfect chip has been taken to a new level!!! Thanks team!
