We came in not knowing what to expect and what we received was an excellent meal - braised beef check, carrots & parsnips and hasselback potatoes. A perfect pairing with a local taranaki beer!nnThe service was prompt and attentive, making the whole meal a delightful experience.
Cool place to eat with quick service and even quicker delivery.nPortion sizes are just right and are meant to he shared.nOnly down side, is my collegue ordered the steak which half of it was complete grissle.nMentioned it to the wait staff who said they would pass on feedback to the chief.
November 12 2025 busy on a Wednesday night.nCauliflower salad was fantastic as well as the Hasselback potatoes. Pork Fillet great and pork belly bits were a meal although listed as an entree. We will be back.
For a place to be this busy on a Wednesday night in Hawera, that says a lot. I couldn't do dessert, hence the photo. Mains included beef cheek, haloumi chips, crispy chicken and truffle potato. The environment was interesting with the copper pipe and wire. Sold on the free spaceys
Got the pork belly bites which were more or less just bite sized bits of pure fat with a sliver of meat. Also got a lemon lime and bitters which tasted like flat soda water.
