Very disappointing experience at KFC Hāwera.nnWhile the food is consistent with what you’d expect from any KFC across New Zealand, the service at this branch is incredibly poor. I placed my order and ended up waiting more than 45 minutes just to get my meal.nIt felt like the staff were prioritizing drive-thru orders over dine-in customers, though I can't be certain—either way, the wait time was far too high. To make matters worse, the tables were quite dirty and hadn't been cleared or wiped down.nAt the end of the day, the food is the same everywhere, so it’s the service and cleanliness that make the difference. Unfortunately, this location failed on both counts.
Everytime I order wicked wings, like EVERY TIME, they dont include any wing base, just the wing tip. Are they somewhat hoarding it?
Food was good, although i didnt get what i ordered, nor did i have time to go back. Ordered boneless lunch but was given 2 pieces of spicy chicken wings. Mmmmm those puppies have bones
Had dinner there last night, food was great as always, Hāwera KFC beats New Plymouth all day! We decided to eat in the car as the tables were all a little dirty, we weren't there long though and I'm not sure how often they get cleaned.
The chicken I wanted was sold out so I was offered either a refund or an alternative product. Overall the meal was good. Restroom was clean and tidy. It was a quiet Monday that I visited.
