Met the owner Chang, such a nice and humble person. Thank you so much for an awesome experience at your restaurant. We will definitely visit your Parnell branch in Auckland. Excellent service and food. Highly recommended.
Staff was friendly but slow. Served meals and forgot cutlery. Food was average - beer battered mushrooms wasn’t as described didn’t have any pork mince in it. I ordered my meal medium spicy and it tasted spicier than my husband’s who ordered actually spicy.

We came here for a work event. We were put in a function room which was spacious. Food was really delicious. Serving sizes were large. Very cool how the currys came out in a bowl above a tealight candle. There was also a karaoke function room which looked super fun!! The mild option was quite spicy in my opinion. For someone who isn't a fan of lots of spice there was no other option so was a bit of a shame that mild came out as spicy.
As a Thai myself, I would highly recommend this restaurant. Beautiful atmosphere and food is delicious and services is outstanding.
This may sound weird but this was the first restaurant my wife and I went after having just arrived in the country from the Philippines about 3 weeks ago. The spice levels were customizable and I loved my drunken noodles a lot.Food: 5/5
Being a frequent visitor of Thailand and Thai food fan, I’d say their food was nothing but average despite good reviews from locals. Thai milk tea was nowhere near authentic, was really disappointing in flavour and nothing like what it’s supposed to be. Ordered spicy level “bloody hot” and “hot”, but neither was really spicy at all. Probably have had their recipes altered to suit locals, and spice levels stated not matching the actual spiciness. Green curry tasted good but portion was way tiny. Most probably wouldn’t visit again, sorry.
Good Thai restaurant with a lot of options to choose, quality food and good service. We will visit again.
I have been coming back to this restaurant every single time I am back in Christchurch since before Covid. I’m glad that they’re still running nowadays. Brought my colleagues too everytime I am back to CHC and they approved with my choice, even the Thai colleagues. Pad Thai Crispy Pork is definitely my favourite.
Really disappointed with the delivered meal. Have eaten in the restaurant and loved it but tonight’s delivery was a let down. We enjoy spicy food but our ‘medium’ order was just about inedible it was so hot. Medium was the lowest spice rating definitely not consistent with the restaurant dishes. My tofu stirfry only had 4 pieces of tofu which I paid an additional $2 for. At $55 for 2 dishes, sadly I won’t be ordering again. Vegetarian options: 4 pieces of tofu for $2
